My love for baking started more than 30 years ago in my home kitchen, where I discovered the joy of creating cakes that brought people together. For several years, I had the honor of making wedding cakes and celebrating some of life’s most meaningful milestones. Later, I stepped back from baking to focus on raising my children — a season of life that filled my heart and shaped who I am today.
 

After my children graduated high school, I returned to school myself and became a Registered Nurse. I served on a COVID unit during one of the most challenging times in healthcare and later found my calling in hospice nursing after experiencing the loss of both of my parents. Caring for others through difficult moments strengthened my compassion and deepened my desire to bring comfort wherever I can.
 

Through every chapter of life, baking has remained my safe place — a way to de-stress, express creativity, and share love with others. Today, with the support of my amazing adult children, that passion has grown into Scrubs and Sweets Bakery. Together, we are building a family business rooted in kindness, service, and homemade goodness.
